**Position:** Food Service Associate-Full Time 11:00 am-7:00 pm **Location:** Mason, OH

**Shift:** 11:00 am-7:00 pm

**Hours:** 36 hours/week

This position performs routine tasks under immediate supervision and in support of the Lindner Center of HOPE (LCOH) food service operations.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Retrieves, collects and transports food service supplies, equipment and refuse as directed.

* Sorts and rinses dishes and silverware; operates and unloads dish machine and stores clean items; inspects washed items for cleanliness and breakage. Records dish machine temperatures.

* Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to established cleaning schedules.

* Empties trash containers regularly.

* Maintains assigned work area in a safe and sanitary condition.

* Maintains tray line and prep area by cleaning, sweeping and mopping.

* Basic food preparation as needed for daily meals.

* Able to use a POS register and provide customer service to customers and guests.

* Other reasonable duties as assigned by management staff.

**Position Qualifications:**

* High school diploma preferred.

* Basic food knowledge and prior food service experience is preferred.

* Must be able to read invoices.

* Must be willing to work weekends and holidays

* Must have strong customer service skills and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently
