Job Summary

Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop, and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules • Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Environmental, Health and Safety rules/regulations are adhered to during the shift.
  • Responsible for executing established material handling processes to ensure material are received and located properly and in a timely manner.
  • Transportation requires attention to detail in contracts and transportation requirements, such as pricing discounts or fees.
  • Responsible for verifying the quality of the product that is received within the shift, operating within the company's quality systems, processes and procedures.
  • Monitor, measure and report on receiving related process performance, and general issues.
  • Ensure good communication is given both verbally and/or written back to leadership when necessary.
  • Work closely with Supervisors and Production Schedulers to ensure shipping methods are effective and communications tools are timely/effective.
  • Maintain an active role in the company's continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
  • Maintains an attitude which consistently represents the organizational culture, including: the mission, vision and core attributes.
  • Other Ad hoc duties as assigned by manager.
  • Supports "Lean Business Enterprise" initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination.

Job Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. The ability to effectively navigate an ERP system is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a safety sensitive industrial or manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Experience with shop drawings and unit assembly.
  • Experience with Action Tracker or similar program preferred.
