The Quality Inspector is responsible for but not limited to identifying the completed customer order with the incoming receiving report or stock pull ticket, and manufacturer's certification as applicable. They will inspect the correct quantity of parts according to the Inspection Sampling Plan Instruction and resolve non-conformances by notifying the department responsible for the rejection and notifying the supervisor for that area for instruction, if needed. The Quality Inspector will verify that the parts and quantities in the order matches the picking ticket. They will generate an Electro certification or verify that special manufacturer's certifications are attached, if applicable. They will identify combined and all international orders and place these orders in the combined area.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendors and the sales department regarding customer claims via email
  • Investigate customer claims related to non-conforming products, invoice discrepancies, and shipment errors
  • Process credits and rebill invoices in EPDS
  • Manage orders and associated paperwork in EPDS for shipments
  • Disposition resale and value-added products in EPDS
  • Process returns to vendor (RTV) for resale and value-added products
  • Handle rework for returned value-added and resale products
  • Process incoming resale and value-added parts for stock or scrap
  • Return conforming products to stock or customers
  • Remove non-conforming products from stock and prepare orders
  • Log and maintain records of non-conforming products held in the Returns Department
  • Process incoming products returned without prior approval
  • Investigate undeliverable products returned by UPS/FedEx/DHL.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate in verbal and written form
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
