Fabrication or welding experience is a huge plus!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Communicate with crew leader and site plant personnel accordinglyAdhere to all RGA and site policies, instructions, procedures and safety guidelines in accordance with applicable OSHA and MSHA regulationFollow all safety policies and procedures as outlined by company and OSHASuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the work crewReport to shop foreman of assigned profit center when not performing belt crew duties. Other duties may be assigned at this time including belt, hose and gasket fabrication, welding and general housekeeping duties.Apply TIG welding to metal hoses.Ability to work in a timely manner, to demonstrate attention to detail, to follow RGA policies and procedures, to uphold RGA values and maintain regular and timely attendanceConducts general housekeeping in accordance with applicable OSHA regulationOther duties as assigned by managementRegular and reliable attendance requiredFollow directions of supervisors and trainersFollow directions of RGA policies and proceduresEducation and ExperiencePreferred: High School Diploma or equivalentCertificates, Licenses, and RegistrationsMust have a valid, active Driver's License with an insurable driving recordMust pass a hair follicle drug test upon hire.
