Maintenance Technician (Hotel)

As a Maintenance Technician for Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Your skills in maintenance and repair will contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for our guests.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances.

* Conduct inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely manner.

* Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

* Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery as needed, including but not limited to lighting fixtures, locks, and furniture.

* Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

* Assist with renovation projects, installations, and other special projects as assigned.

* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

* Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure the overall cleanliness, functionality, and appearance of the hotel.

Required Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age.

* Must be able to pass a background check.

* Must be able to obtain Gaming license (if applicable).

* Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

* Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field preferred but not required.

* Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques.

* Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

* Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

* Lift and carry heavy objects, tools, and equipment.

* Exposure to various weather conditions when performing outdoor maintenance tasks.

* Moderate physical effort is required.

* Occasional exposure to mild to moderate smoke in certain areas of the hotel.
