The Haskell & Irene Lemon Construction Science (CNS) Division at the University of Oklahomas (OU) Gibbs College of Architecture (GCA) invites applications for a ranked renewable term faculty position beginning in August 2025. The successful applicant will join a tight-knit group of faculty who share the mission to prepare students to be leaders in the construction industry by fostering a student-centered, collaborative learning environment that benefits local, state, national, and international communities through innovative teaching, research, and service in support of the GCA strategic plan. Applicants should have a demonstrated background in and be prepared to teach in multiple subject areas, such as Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing Systems, Surveying, Project Management, Planning & Scheduling, and/or Pre-construction.
The Divisions significant endowment supports strong leadership, a cadre of passionate and impactful faculty, and a pattern of student success in regional, national, and international competitions. The GCAs history in helping develop the design+build movement continues today through the programs approach to entrepreneurship and hands-on collaborations.
