Position Overview
As the Hotel Manager at Citizen House, you will oversee the overall operations and management of the prestigious 16-key hotel. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the highest level of member satisfaction and delivering exceptional service. With extensive hospitality experience, you will lead a team of professionals, coordinate departments, and uphold Citizen House's reputation for excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and maintenance.
- Ensure standards of service and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained.
- Foster a positive, cohesive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
- Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain efficient procedures and standards.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain relationships with key clients, VIPs, and industry partners.
- Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards.
- Handle guest and member complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to foster innovation.
- Represent the hotel and club at industry events and functions.
- Support security in maintaining a safe environment.
- Assist front desk with check-in/out processes and guest requests.
- Manage guest records and reservations as needed.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
- Proven managerial experience in the luxury hotel industry.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, and sales.
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Business acumen and financial performance skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and relevant software.
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and exceed guest expectations.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to handle objects, grasp, turn, and hold items with hands.
- Work on your feet for extended periods, at least 8 hours.
- Navigate various areas within the club quickly.
- Lift, pull, carry, or move objects weighing at least 30 pounds.
- Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing.
