Job SummaryMathWorks has a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. The hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations.As a Sales Account Manager of the Automotive Industry, the qualified candidate will be responsible for selling the company's products and services via telephone and on-site visits to customers primarily in a specified named Automotive-related accounts/territory of South Korea. This individual will be responsible for a mix of appropriate activities including prospecting, opportunity management, and closing sales by using a strategic selling approach which includes building a comprehensive accounts/territory plan and executing specific strategies to maximize territory revenue.MathWorks nurtures growth, appreciates diversity, encourages initiative, values teamwork, shares success, and rewards excellence.Responsibilities Attainment of revenue targets; New Product License, Software Maintenance and Services (Training and Consulting) salesGenerate and qualify sales leads, determine customer needs, overcome objections and close salesPrepare and implement sales account plans, including activity reports and forecastsDevelop and manage a funnel of opportunities and activitiesGain in depth understanding of the current and future needs of named accounts, and develop and implement short and medium term account plans to realize this potentialMake use of all relevant information sources and rigorously follow up and prioritize all qualified leads provided by marketing or sales support in order to energetically prospect for new business opportunitiesWork closely with potential customers at all levels to understand users, requirements, and management business issuesTake ownership for the relationship between customers and all departments within MathWorksGain access to the appropriate decision makers and manage evaluation processes in order to pursue business opportunities through to a successful conclusionLeverage cross functional teams to develop and implement account specific strategiesCollaborate closely with Customer Facing Engineer, Technical Marketing, and peer sales teamsDocument and report sales activities using an advanced CRM tool (Salesforce)Provide assistance, guidance and information to support other members of the team to achieve the company's objectivesQualifications A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in Korea.Additional Qualifications Engineering degree requiredDirect technical sales experience requiredTechnical software sales experience in the Automotive Industry preferredExperience working with Technical Engineers and Inside Sales Reps preferredManagement experience for OEM and Tier 1/2 suppliers in the Automotive industry preferredDemonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other departmentsDemonstrated success managing a territory and using a CRM systemProven success in penetrating major/named accounts and developing new businessProven sales track record in the technical software businessBusiness level of written and verbal communication skills required (English/Korean)#J-18808-Ljbffr
