The Marketing & Communications Writer creates, writes, and edits content for a wide range of communication and marketing initiatives in support of the Mar. Comm division's mission and objectives and in alignment with the University's goals. Essential Duties: Writes and proofreads messaging for print and digital publication, to include but not limited to marketing materials, website content, news and feature articles, talking points, timely institutional announcements, video scripts, advertising copy, and press releases. Writes original content for print, web, marketing, advertising, executive leadership, and press use by creatively compiling information collected through research, interviewing, and gathering materials from the requesting party. Supports executive communications by developing talking points, speeches, scripts, letters, news release quotes, background materials, and other materials as needed.
