Rotating Shift work (to include days, mids, nights, and weekends). Weekday shifts are 8 hours, weekend shifts are 12 hours. Some overtime required. PEAK Operating Engineer Position Essential Duties Under direct supervision, assist with monitoring and inspecting equipment. Assist with operating the steam and chilled water plant, and with guidance from the supervisor, adjusts and control steam and chilled water, and performs water tests and analysis. Assists with monitoring and inspecting equipment to detect leaks or malfunctions to ensure the equipment is operating efficiently and safely. With guidance from the Supervisor, discusses the type of maintenance needed and performs routine maintenance. Assists with the operation of the steam and chilled water plant generation equipment including boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
