Accurately abstract information from medical records to appropriately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for both surgeon, assistant surgeon and ambulatory surgery center Accurately input charge information into PM system for surgeon, assistant surgeon, and ambulatory surgery center Assist billing and clinical staff on coding questions and reviews Reporting and tracking of cases that need to be posted for both physician and ambulatory surgery center Familiarize self with insurance specific coding guidelines and payer edits Qualifications Education Bachelors of Science or Associates in Applied Arts/ Science or equivalent years of experience. Experience Three years coding of experience with inpatient and outpatient types preferred.
