Description

As a VP Information Technology, you will lead LSB's information technology (IT) function. You will play a pivotal role in developing, executing and leading LSB's IT strategies. You will partner with the business in providing our technology roadmap to deliver new and integrated systems and tools to support the business, drive improvements and reduce costs. You will partner with and support our operations team to advance our operational technology platform and strategy. You will also act as a strategic advisor to the executive team and other stakeholders on technology-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

The VP Information Technology is responsible for every facet of the company's IT infrastructure and other technology resources. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement the company's IT strategy, aligning it with overall business goals.
  • Communicate the company's IT vision, strategy, and performance to the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Company's operational technology (“OT”) strategy, aligning it with overall business and operations goals and the Company's IT strategy.
  • Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, including enterprise architecture (applications, data, hardware and networks), ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and improvement, delivering results and achieving excellence, and providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Evaluate and select new technologies and applications, plan their implementation, and provide guidance to IT professionals.
  • Drive technological innovation and use of artificial intelligence to improve business processes, operational efficiencies, data analytics, and customer experiences.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with IT infrastructure to ensure security and enhance production efficiency, operational processes, and data analytics capabilities.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure the security of the company's data and IT/OT infrastructure, implementing best practices and compliance with relevant regulations, and protect the company from cyber threats.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners.
  • Oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the various IT departments and functional areas: Help Desk/Service Desk, IT Management & Project Management, Network Infrastructure & Telecommunications, Security/SOX/PCI/CFATS Compliance and application and database management.
  • Manage Corporate ERP and related applications.
  • Manage the IT and OT budgets, planning and optimizing IT capital and expense spending and ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a relevant field, required.
  • Fifteen plus years of Information Technology experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • Ten plus years of experience in leadership role managing and developing people.
  • Five or more years of experience working in large cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively; capable of communicating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience with JD Edwards, preferred.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing abilities.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity, cloud computing, operational technology, and enterprise systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and to advocate and articulate the case for change and then successfully implement improvements.
  • Strong customer focus and partnership approach focused on supporting customer needs.
  • Ability to foresee technological trends and their impact on the business.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to make informed decisions quickly and confidently.
