Purpose:

While projecting a professional image; performs and oversees independent credit analysis and/or loan reviews on large, complex bank loans and other lending prospects as assigned. Compares and evaluates possible courses of action reading loans after various possibilities have been considered. Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of credit significance.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure that customers are assisted by telephone, electronically, or in person by meeting or exceeding Bank standards as identified in the SMILE program.
  • Reviews, oversees and coordinates the accurate input and spreading of financial information from statements, tax returns and other related documents utilizing the banks financial analysis software.
  • Regularly and customarily performs independent financial analysis of commercial and agricultural loan requests as determined to identify strengths, weakness, cash flows and other related identified risks in a written format to be provided to Relationship Bankers and Management.
  • Actively manages and coordinates the daily credit analysis procedures and activities to ensure consistency and timeliness
  • Use independent judgment to identify and recommend proper loan grades for borrowers with aid of the Banks lending software, loan grading matrixes, and lending policy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal loan policy and procedures as well as external regulations during review of loans.
  • Responsible for reporting to Department Management, Senior Management, Lending Committees and Board of Directors on findings of Credit Analysis and Loan Review as determined by management.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in finance or accounting required, minimum 3.0 overall GPA
  • Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience credit analysis program in a mid-sized financial institution
  • Possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma Drivers License.

Physical Requirements:
  • Long periods of standing or sitting, typing and repetitive motion
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs on occasion
