Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Manage overall plant operations, including budgeting, production scheduling, and inventory management, ensuring that all targets for throughput, quality, and cost-efficiency are consistently met or exceeded. Oversee day-to-day operations to maintain seamless production flow across all plant areas.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant workplace, implementing safety protocols, training programs, and regular audits to minimize incidents, promote employee well-being, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Analyze production costs, resource utilization, and inventory levels to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for process optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements that reduce waste, lower operational costs, and enhance profitability.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards, including MSHA, OSHA, and other relevant frameworks. Lead regular inspections and corrective action plans to maintain full compliance and avoid operational disruptions.
• Evaluate and optimize operational processes, leveraging data-driven insights to redesign workflows, improve equipment utilization, and streamline production. Develop long-term strategies for plant efficiency, resource management, and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop plant staff, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and training programs to build a high-performing, motivated team capable of meeting ambitious production and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree
• At least 5 years of aggregates industry experience
• Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations
• Strong communication, management and supervisory skills
• Background interfacing with external stakeholders such as regulatory agencies, community organizations, or local chamber of commerce
• Computer and systems literate, including competency with Microsoft Office
