The T-6 COMBS Aeronautical Engineer provides program-level engineering and technical support for the T-6 Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) program across all sites. This role focuses on evaluating part discrepancies, reviewing technical data, assessing configuration impacts, and supporting material-related engineering decisions rather than performing or directing hands-on aircraft maintenance. The Aeronautical Engineer supports Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCT - Os), Technical Directives (T - Ds), and Time Change Interval (TCI) actions to ensure parts, components, and configurations meet airworthiness, OEM, contractual, and customer requirements.
