Part-Time Production Team Member (Inserter)
Join The Norman Transcript production team as a part-time inserter.
You will operate and monitor equipment that automatically inserts advertising materials into our newspapers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented team members to work as mailroom inserters.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate machinery that inserts pre-printed sections into newspapers and prepare the finished papers for delivery which includes physically handling and stacking bundles of newspapers, often weighing 10 to 50 pounds.
- Monitoring machine performance and making minor adjustments.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Meeting production deadlines.
Schedule: Various shifts including nights & weekends.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
