TITLE: Parts/Inventory Control

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of parts to be ordered/stocked by the maintenance department.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Director

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives shipments in the warehouse.
• Fills daily orders for the maintenance personnel, on job site when needed.
• Operates and maintains forklift in the warehouse for unloading trucks, moving items, etc.
• Keeps the maintenance parts department area clean and orderly.
• Secures the warehouse at all times, particularly when leaving the area.
• Picks up parts for maintenance when they cannot be delivered or a rush order.
• Inventory maintenance supplies/parts.
• To check prices availability (etc.) in order to obtain the lowest cost for the school district.
• Performs such other tasks as may be assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Twelve-month basis. Salary to be established by the Board of Education.

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy.
