KPMG is currently seeking a Director to become an integral part of our Risk Management Advisory team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the approval process for engagements within stipulated risk parameters, focusing on technology-related engagements that require thorough risk assessments, proposal reviews, and strategic guidance.
  • Work closely with engagement teams to establish scoping, contracting, pricing, and procurement needs for government technology initiatives while enhancing your knowledge of government contracting regulations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to consulting teams, delivering strategic insights on managing delivery challenges in real-time government technology projects, and ensure incorporation of lessons learned into future risk assessments.
  • Build strong strategic relationships with leaders of critical government technology offerings, offering risk input on significant initiatives and facilitating the early identification of risks.
  • Direct risk management initiatives including training programs, updating policies, and conducting firm-wide risk assessments.
  • Enhance risk systems, process updates, and strategic reporting in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Uphold KPMG's values of integrity and professionalism to foster a respectful workplace.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant leadership experience in risk management or engagement delivery within professional services or government consulting, particularly in technology implementations.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is mandatory; a master's degree is preferable.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior management and firm executives.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and procurement processes is essential.
  • Demonstrated strengths in strategic analytical thinking and complex problem-solving.
  • Expertise in the firm's risk management methodologies.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
