Your Role:

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to become a vital part of our Facilities Engineering and Design Team, specializing in healthcare facility projects. In this role, you will leverage advanced engineering principles to design and optimize mechanical systems in healthcare settings, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

You will have the chance to:

  • Lead the design and development of state-of-the-art mechanical systems for healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct thorough engineering calculations, cost estimations, and performance analyses to strategically align with project standards.
  • Prepare and oversee the creation of comprehensive project documents, including plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering a culture of quality and consistency in deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, architects, and clients to ensure design objectives are met.
  • Manage design execution, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Participate in client meetings, project coordination efforts, and technical design reviews.
  • Conduct site assessments to validate design efficiency and accuracy.

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • At least 6 years of mechanical engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on healthcare facility design.
  • Healthcare-related certifications such as ASHRAE Healthcare Facilities Design Professional (HFDP) are a plus.
