Radar Systems Engineer - Various Experience Levels

Exciting Opportunity! Join our team as we modernize and deploy advanced radar systems across multiple operational sites. As a Radar Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining technical requirements, supporting system implementation, and validating radar performance in real-world environments. We have multiple openings available to support ongoing and future projects.

Position Overview

In this role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and activation of cutting-edge radar systems. Your responsibilities will encompass systems engineering, field engineering, and analytical tasks, guiding radar concepts from requirements definition through to operational deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, document, and manage technical radar system requirements.
  • Support the development and validation of concepts, addressing both operational and technical requirements.
  • Provide engineering expertise for field implementation and system deployment activities.
  • Develop procedures for the installation, implementation, and activation of radar systems.
  • Analyze radar data at operational sites to evaluate system architecture and interface performance.
  • Perform configuration management activities.
  • Support Program Implementation Plans (PIPs).
  • Conduct site surveys and review radar activation and deployment plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven background and experience in radar engineering.
  • Experience in radar system design, analysis, or implementation.
  • Strong understanding of radar operational concepts and requirements development.
  • Experience supporting field engineering or system deployment activities.
  • Able to analyze radar data and assess system performance.

Educational and Experience Requirements

Senior Level

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A Master's degree may substitute for 3 years of experience.
  • A PhD may also substitute for 3 years of experience.
  • Compensation Range: $138,420 - $264,300.

Mid Level

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A Master's degree may substitute for 3 years of experience.
  • A PhD may also substitute for 3 years of experience.
  • Compensation Range: $114,390 - $198,575.

Junior Level

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A Master's degree may substitute for 3 years of experience.
  • A PhD may also substitute for 3 years of experience.
  • Compensation Range: $64,620 - $149,200.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with non-cooperative radar systems.
  • Familiarity with system integration and interface analysis.
  • Experience working in operational or field environments.
  • Knowledge of government or aviation radar systems and processes.

Additional Information

  • This role may require travel to various operational sites.
  • Candidates should be comfortable collaborating across engineering, operations, and program management teams.
