Job Overview:

The File Processing Specialist plays a critical role in managing documents going to and from the courts, addressing any challenges that arise both internally and externally. This position involves close coordination with process servers in the Oklahoma City area. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the legal field or seeking to build a career in administration while enjoying independent work. The ideal candidate will possess some experience in office administration. This position is full-time and on-site in Oklahoma City, OK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and print documents for court submission and retrieval.
  • Revise and print documents returned from process servers.
  • Coordinate with process servers to ensure the timely delivery of legal documents to our Oklahoma office.
  • Store and retrieve warrants for court proceedings.
  • Confirm all documents are scanned and properly filed.
  • Prepare documents for filing with the court.
  • Manage incoming mail efficiently.
  • Resolve any issues related to filings as they arise.
  • Regularly lift and move boxes weighing 10-15lbs or more throughout the office, including navigating stairs.
  • Maintain flexibility in changing positions frequently between standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
  • Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing 10-15lbs frequently and move up and down stairs.
  • Ability to change positions often from standing to walking to sitting.
  • Prior experience in a related field (office administration or paralegal work) is preferred.
  • Proven ability to produce high volumes of work and meet daily goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing effective communication with colleagues.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage one's own schedule efficiently.
  • Openness to learning new things and embracing feedback positively.
  • Basic computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office being a plus.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pay: $15.00 per hour
