We have a 6 month contract to hire for a hands-on QA Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in API and backend testing, Agile/Scrum environments, and modern automation tools such as Cypress, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines. They bring a solid understanding of web technologies and databases, can read and analyze logs, and collaborate effectively with developers to deliver high-quality, reliable test coverage for web and API-driven applications. Healthcare experience and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) are a plus. 100% Remote.

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of experience
• Agile and Scrum Process Knowledge with manual testing expertise
• Understanding of Web Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how these interact with the web application helps in spotting issues and understanding how the application should behave.
• API Testing, Adaptability, communication and collaboration

Preferred Experience:

• Healthcare Experience
• ISTQB

About this Role:
Our team is focused on delivering high-quality automation for the web portals and API components currently under development. Hiring new resources for upcoming scrum teams (Atlantis is breaking into three different scrum teams)
We work in a dynamic environment and the team is both collaborative and supportive.
This is not part of a larger hiring initiative.

Job Profile Summary
Position Purpose:
Designs and develops automated tests scripts using automation tools and scripting tools, refining the acceptance criteria into automated acceptance test cases/scripts, and executing automated test scripts and individual tests in support of IT changes to business processes. Conducts test automation code reviews and evangelizes test automation best practices to the entire engineering organization.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 - 4 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:
