We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our Dietary team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

Position Summary:
The Dishwasher plays a vital role in ensuring sanitary kitchen operations by cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and food preparation areas. This position directly supports our mission by helping provide residents with safe, high-quality meals in a comfortable setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dish room, and storage areas.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with facility procedures.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with stocking supplies and putting away deliveries.
• Support dietary staff with basic food prep tasks as assigned.
• Follow all infection control, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Immediately report equipment issues or safety concerns to the Dietary Manager.
• Work cooperatively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous dishwashing or food service experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening (per state regulations).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequently lift up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
• Comfortable working in a warm, wet environment.
