Southwestern Wire, Inc., a leading producer of chain link fencing & steel wire products, nationwide, seeks a Welder to join our team. Pay includes incentive.

Duties:

• Perform welding on equipment, structures, and piping systems using a variety of welding techniques.
• Understand technical drawings, specifications, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
• Prepare and adjust welding machines (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) according to material and thickness.
• Fabricate parts, components, and assemblies from metal using welding and cutting tools.
• Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Identify the cause of mechanical failures and resolve issues through welding and fabrication.
• Examine finished welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications. Repair defects if necessary.
• Operate cutting tools, grinders, drills, and other related equipment to support repairs.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous experience preferred
