Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Material Manager, is responsible for efficient Receiving operations, deliveries, and verification that the quantities ordered match quantities received, ensuring deliveries for requesting areas reach their destination and procedures are followed regarding paperwork and appropriate signatures are obtained. All paperwork must be complete and organized for computer entry to maintain accurate financial tracking. Has no supervisory responsibility. Responsible for all outgoing shipments so that of all computer transactions relating to these shipments can be processed. Handles confidential information regarding product pricing and vendors. Responsible for putting up stock in GS as needed as well as scan and pull orders for the supply rooms. Will perform all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.

Primary Duties:

  • Maintains the warehouse in a condition that insures the safe and clean operation of the restock/delivery process; in addition, demonstrates the initiative to determine what actions are necessary to accomplish this responsibility and interjects new ideas and ways of doing things to maximize quality and efficiency.
  • Enforces Oklahoma Heart Hospital policy in relation to all warehouse stocking and deliveries, as well as vendor deliveries and receiving. Reports any violations of this receiving policy to Purchasing immediately.
  • Accurately complete the Key-rec record for all incoming and outgoing shipments from OHHP, thereby maintaining a perpetual record of all OHHP receiving dock activity.
  • Insures that all receipts to be delivered to departments are routed correctly and that all appropriate documentation is signed by the receiving department.
  • Organized files are maintained and kept up-to-date with all receiving activity, so that any discrepancies can be easily researched.
  • Effectively uses the computer system's receiving report to shelve stock items and verify that the quantity ordered matches the quantity received. All overages or shortages are indicated on this receiving document.
  • Uses receiving report for all completed receipts, delivers the order to the appropriate department or in the case of an inventory order, to restock the correct warehouse.
  • Accurately documents all computer report irregularities, thereby ensuring the accurate financial tracking of all transactions for supply distribution and inventory related procedures.
Qualifications

Education: High school graduate required

Experience: Receiving, shipping and general inventory warehouse experience preferred.

Working Knowledge: Computer literate, basic knowledge of inventory management.

Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to use a pallet jack (electric and manual) and use of Hand Held units
