Cook/Chef Opportunity - Epworth Villa
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Starting Pay: $17 per hour

Position Overview

Our kitchen operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This Full-Time role offers strong growth potential for individuals who demonstrate dependability, consistent high performance, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Applicants must have flexible availability to meet operational needs. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedule flexibility is a required qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals in accordance with approved menus, maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
• Receive, label, store, and rotate food products in compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate effectively with culinary and dietary team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Properly shut down and secure kitchen equipment and work areas at the end of service.
• Accurately document food temperatures and complete required logs in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a positive dining experience that supports resident satisfaction and well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of professional cook experience required.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrated reliability, work ethic, and a collaborative mindset.
