SUMMARY
Assists the QA Program in auditing charts and ensuring data is furnished to the appropriate channels in a timely manner. Ensures compliance of documentation with external funding certification agencies and Red Rock policies and procedures. Provide ongoing individualand group counseling to assigned population. Complete documentation requirements reflecting clinical necessity which meets program and agency standards. Interact regularly with other staff, including the Health Team, and treatment providers to assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, orsubstance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol tobacco, and/or other drugs. Activities may include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, treatment planning, psycho-social assessments, client advocacy, prevention and education. Demonstrates competencies (or gaining competencies) in specific theoretical orientations, i.e., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, etc. Completes required process for commercial insurance participation.
