Red Rooster in Oklahoma City, OK is looking for one prep cook to join our small but might team! Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable. We are a from scratch kitchen, we make all of our sauces, pickles, charcuterie, ice cream, breads and so much more all in house! We source our meat, eggs and in-season market vegetables from local farmers!

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and prepare menu items
• Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
• Weigh and measure ingredients
• Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
• preparing sauces, ice cream, and pickles
• Label stock and inventory all ingredients
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and listen to team members
• Ability to self manage and plan out daily tasks.
• Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
• Experience as a Prep Cook a plus
