The Customer Service Representative is the primary point of contact for our customers, managing interactions across multiple platforms with a focus on first-call resolution and service excellence. This role handles customer inquiries, processes orders, provides technical support, and partners with our sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.Responsibilities* Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and electronic channels* Handle and resolve customer complaints with a focus on first-call resolution* Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to address product and service inquiries* Provide accurate pricing and delivery information* Process orders, forms, applications, and requests* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and databases* Direct unresolved issues to the appropriate internal resources* Present products and identify upselling opportunities* Support the Outside and Inside Sales teams* Adapt to changes in procedures and customer service tools as neededMinimum Requirements* Associate's degree or higher, OR 1+ years of customer service experience* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Excellent organizational and time management skills* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team* Knowledge of customer service principles and practicesHours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. FLEX Schedule in office and from homeM-D Building Products has been a trusted name in American construction for over 106 years.
