Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech Job Details: • Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of a mentor/preceptor • Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients • Take call as part of regular schedule requirements • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders • Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures • Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting and equipment maintenance • Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical data/findings • Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm completion and technical quality standards • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities • Work in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient practices, and diagnostic centers • Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain accurate records • Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations required • Must demonstrate sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs • Required certifications include one of the following: ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular/Cardiac Interventional Radiography or Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS), and BLS • Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy, physiology, and cardiovascular/radiologic technologies required Facility: This pediatric healthcare facility specializes in providing comprehensive medical care to children and adolescents.
