We are looking for a contract Neuropsychologist who is passionate about whole‑person, whole‑family mental health care. This contract role is a great fit for providers who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment including the patient's psychologist, therapist, and/or psychiatrist.What You'll DoProvide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, collaborating with families and other collateral sourcesInterpret a wide variety of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administrationServe as a subject matter expert in the use and interpretation of neuropsychological assessmentsSupervise and oversee the work of the patient's assigned psychometrist to ensure accurate and reliable data collectionComplete detailed neuropsychological evaluation reports and prepare brief summary documents tailored for clients, families, and referring providersConduct clear, supportive feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and personalized recommendationsCollaborate with the patient's care team to inform and coordinate treatment planningComfortable completing in‑person and virtual sessions with patients and their familiesRequirementsDoctorate degree in Psychology from an American Psychological Association accredited programOne year predoctoral internship with specialization in neuropsychology preferredTwo year postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology preferredEquivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training considered on a case‑by‑case basisLicensed in California or New York preferredPSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible preferredExperience conducting testing virtually and in personFamiliarity with online web‑based applicationsEffective therapeutic communication skillsAble to deliver care virtually or in person from own office spaceCandidates must pass a drug screen and background checkBenefitsConnect with highly compatible clients who are a good fit for your clinical expertiseSet your own schedule without a minimum hours requirementEnjoy Lyra's paperless billing and quick payment turnaroundAccess to 24/7 Care Navigation team for client crisis supportAccess to live and recorded CE‑credited courses approved by APA, ASWB, and NBCCAccess to cutting‑edge technology and support staff to help ease administrative burden of evaluation processWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
