Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Structural Steel Detailer/Drafter Job Summary:As a Steel Detailer you will be responsible for preparing drawings and ensuring that format guidelines are met. This position requires strong attention to detail, planning, and advanced mathematics.RequirementsDuties/Responsibilities:- Utilize established drafting standards, file management & techniques to prepare drawings- Meet all deadlines of project schedule requirements- Review self-performed work for accuracy and formatting guidelines- Design calculations, and engineering design will be used to create submittal drawings based on an assigned contract, and any submitted Architectural plans- Check final submittal drawings on-screen to verify completeness, clarity, and accuracy- Any other duties assigned by managementRequired Skills/Abilities:- Minimum 1 year experience using AutoCAD or Bricscad, Microsoft Office & Adobe Reader- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesEducation and Experience:- Metal Building Software (MBS) experience a plus- Tekla software experience a plus- Minimum 1 year experience in the Metal Building industry is preferred
