BNSF Railway - - Responsibilities: Track Maintenance duties include lifting and carrying track material and assisting in track maintenance.; Truck operation and maintenance duties include operation of 26K+ lb trucks safely efficiently and ensure proper truck and equipment maintenance (schedule regular service and ensure equipment is in good repair) and record keeping.; Welding, grinding, and cutting rail as well as learning, understanding, and following BSF welding procedures. Also maintaining records and timesheets, while taking proper precautions to reduce fire risks.; Daily work is conducted in a safety sensitive environment where the working conditions can include diverse and extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet), walking and performing work on uneven surfaces, working around loud noises, fumes, and heavy/moving machinery.; Relocation assistance is not available and there is a 60-day probationary period.
