BNSF Railway - - Responsibilities: Transporting crew and equipment, track maintenance, vehicle operation, track construction labor, inspection and repair, equipment maintenance, and vehicle housekeeping.; Truck driver and maintenance duties include safe operation of 26K+ lb trucks and ensure proper truck and equipment maintenance by coordinating with vendors and record keeping for truck and welding equipment repairs.; Track Maintenance Repair and Installation; repair and rebuild railroad track as well as perform maintenance by pulling spikes, cutting, welding, or drilling rail.; Maintain Track-bed which includes manually compressing ballast, remove/install ties and replacing, cutting, and adjusting rail in addition to lifting and carrying materials with assistance.; Operate Equipment which includes using power hand tools such as electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic as well as non-powered hand tools.
