Oklahoma City University invites applications for the open position of Police Officer. Police Officers provide protection for the lives and property of the campus community. The Oklahoma City University (OCU) Police Department is a separate police department and not a part of the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD). Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. Experience: Current Oklahoma CLEET certification as a police officer, or another state equivalent certification. Newly hired police officers will complete a Field Training Program. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Two years of college coursework. Experience: Two years of experience in police or campus law enforcement. Job Duties: Demonstrate an attitude and behavior that reflects the values and mission of the department and University.
