CommCorp invests in and administers seven diverse workforce development programs and builds innovative partnerships with industry, education, and workforce organizations.Position DetailsTitle: Human Resources Intern (Remote)Reports To: Executive Director of HR / Senior Talent Management SpecialistCompensation: Total compensation for the internship is $4,650.00 spread over bi-weekly paymentsSchedule: 20 hours per week M-F (August25–November14,2025)About the RoleCommonwealth Corporation is looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting various departments. You will be working closely with our Human Resources Department to conduct various projects and tasks such as administrative assignments to create and maintain a positive, rewarding work environment that contributes to the employee experience, help perform day-to-day operations as well as conduct research, create infographic materials, and attend meetings.To be successful as an intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of Human Resources while working for a well-known community-based organization.Intern ResponsibilitiesHRIS admin support with building training materialsProject-based assignments that improve the employee experience.Assist with daily administrative duties.Assist in planning, writing, and managing monthly HR media updates on the Employee Experience.Assist with the organization of employee records and files in HRISAssist with performing general administrative duties and assisting the Senior Talent Management Specialist with any other HR-related tasks as needed including follow-upsAssist with organizing and attending monthly HR meetings with various teams.Intern RequirementsA college student or recent graduate - Enrollment in an undergraduate course for Human Resources, or a similar field.Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to multitask.Good understanding of the latest Human Resources trends and techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must have a passion for Human Resources.Outstanding multitasking abilities.Massachusetts residenceResearch suggests that qualified women and Black & Indigenous POC may self-select out of opportunities if they don't meet 100% of the job requirements.
