SSM Health - 1000 North Lee Avenue - Responsibilities: Clean patient rooms, offices, classrooms, work areas, and public areas according to proper processes, procedures, and standards; Handle laundry items by sorting and placing in proper containers; Perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, vacuuming, floor cleaning, stripping, refinishing, and carpet cleaning; Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, furniture, windows, and window coverings; Disinfect sterile procedure rooms and areas per policies and standards; Adhere to safety procedures for handling infectious wastes and hazardous materials; report incidents; Replenish supplies in assigned areas and patient rooms; Transport trash and soiled/ recyclables to disposal areas following policies; May assist in moving furniture and setting up rooms; perform minor equipment maintenance; Work safely and perform other duties as assigned
