Summary of PositionThe Quality Assurance Specialist will lead the bank's efforts to mitigate risk related to consumer and commercial lending functions. They will follow QA processes as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.Key Job FunctionsEnsure loans continually meet quality, compliance, and service standards.Work with quality assurance team to drive system and process improvements.Follow the exception tracking process in accordance with loan agreements, covenants, approved requests, credit policy, and bank procedures, exception resolution, and reporting.Execute loan sampling methodology to perform credit and regulatory reviews and report results.Coordinate activities to ensure HMDA and CRA data integrity, and Fair Lending, Truth in Lending, TRID, flood, and other federal and state regulatory compliance.Process lien filings and releases for new and paid‑off loans across multiple product lines, including mortgage, commercial, consumer, and vehicle loans.QualificationsSolid understanding of financial institution products and servicesExperience with Bank software, Microsoft Excel and data analysisExtensive experience with loan documentation, lien perfection, collateral perfection, credit monitoring, document tracking and management, lending related regulatory requirements, and management reportingExperience with item exception tracking and document imaging systemsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, law, or financeBanking experience preferredPhysical DemandsHearing, speech, close visionSitting, including computer useDriving with own transportation to other branches for meetings/workshopsOn occasions, may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 poundsJob responsibilities may include standing, walking, lifting, kneeling, and crouchingSovereign Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
