Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months' travel Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed Job Summary Under general supervision, the Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, diagnoses, and recommends treatment plans for communication disorders related to speech and language. Responsibilities Perform evaluations of speech, hearing, and swallowing difficulties upon physician referral. Make preliminary diagnoses and develop treatment plans. Determine the need for individual or group therapy for each client. Document client progress. Assist students in clinical rotations to meet objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Knowledge of normal speech, language, and hearing development. Ability to perform diagnostic tests for communication disorders and formulate treatment plans. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Ability to display patience and encouragement, especially when clients experience frustration. Required Education Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Required Certifications & Licensure Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
