Private Banker II – Oklahoma City, OK

The Private Banker II will source and maintain relationships with high‑net-worth clientele, primarily delivering private banking credit and deposit solutions. This role partners with wealth management, retail, commercial banking and other lines of business to provide comprehensive financial solutions across the UMB footprint.

Responsibilities

• Call on prospective and existing high net‑worth clients to develop new business.
• Possess and maintain industry knowledge of trends, products, technology, and competition.
• Maintain a client book of business.
• Execute an ongoing proactive client contact strategy utilizing Salesforce.
• Take an active or leadership role in community, civic, and/or charitable organizations and events.
• Actively participate with the wealth team in development of key customer plans & reviews.
• Develop relationships with COIs (e.g., realtors, attorneys, financial advisors, accountants) to generate business opportunities.
• Participate in meetings and functions as assigned.
• Engage with clients through company-sponsored activities and events.
• Meet individual/team performance and operational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• College degree or 7+ years of experience in direct financial sales.
• 5+ years of wealth management/private banking experience in the financial services industry.
• Valid driver's license with independent transportation.
• NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Expertise in mortgage and consumer lending.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to address customer concerns and needs.
• Ability to work with high-net-worth clients & prospects of varied backgrounds & experiences.
• Ability to analyze and interpret client financial statements and tax returns.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Trust & Bank products & services, including Investments, Insurance, Brokerage, and Retirement Planning.
• Proven success in financial services and sales.

Compensation

$83,200 – $178,800 per year. Actual compensation may vary by location, experience and other factors. This range does not encompass full earning potential.
