Material HandlerOklahoma City, OklahomaMaxcess Oklahoma City hiring a Material Handler to join our team!Primary Responsibility:Load, unload, and move material within plant or work site to provide support to our internal teams and customers.Duties and Responsibilities:Performs purchase order and job receipts of materialCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials received or issued with critical attention to detail and accuracyPerforms cycle counts on regular basisPicks and issues material to jobsDelivers backorders and materials to various departmentsLoads and unloads materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by handPrepares intercompany packing listsAttaches identifying labels and/or tags or marks containers with identifying informationKnows, understands, and follows proper safety proceduresOther duties as assignedPhysical Demands:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job.Long periods of standing; frequent walkingStooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and occasionally climbing ladders to heights of approximately 25 feetUse of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controlsFrequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 poundsClose vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focusQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to lift heavy loads and stand for long periodsBasic computer and computation skillsGood focus and attention to detailMaxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
